The High Sierra Archery Shoot Hoedown In The Sierras will take place on June 13th and 14th, 2026 at Bear Valley Resort.

Take the Mokelumne Express up the mountain where you and your group will choose one of three courses.
Choose the Whiskey Course for the biggest challenge.
Try the Team Course for a still-challenging but less difficult course.
The Family Course is great for beginners or anyone looking for a simpler course and shorter shots.
• Family Course: 10–35 yards
• Team Course: 30–65 yards
• Whiskey Course: 50–100+ yards
Anyone is welcome to move closer to the target if needed, we just ask that those shooters go last to help keep things flowing smoothly, and that someone stays behind the main shooting stake for safety.
This event is perfect for the whole family from 7 to 73. Choose the Walker option if you're not an archer but want to be on the course with friends or family. Please note that if you purchase a walker ticket, you must be grouped up with a shooting group.
ATTENTION: To keep the course moving smoothly, each group may include a maximum of 6 shooters; walkers are not included in this count. Groups with more than 6 shooters will be divided as evenly as possible and scheduled with one-hour spacing between start times.
We offer RV camping tickets to camp on the grounds of the resort. Camping tickets are for fully contained trailers. There are no hookups and no tent camping!
Saturday includes live music.
At the base of the event you can participate in the Split the Pot Shot with a chance to win hundreds of dollars in the afternoon at a 100 plus yard target. Shoot-out will be $10 per shot, unlimited shots with a 3 shot at a time maximum.
There will be food, vendors, gear displays and booths, live music and a chance to win your share of $25K in prizes in the fund-raising raffle.
