YETI RAMBLER 26 OUNCE BOTTLE
We looked at Yeti products for a while but could not substantiate the cost difference from other cooler and bottle manufacturers. Here at Team-Whiskey, we gear ourselves up for the numerous outdoor activities, so money needs to be spent wisely. My first Yeti product was given to me by a friend of my wife who visited us one summer, saw our lifestyle, and noticed how important staying hydrated is. She sent us an unexpected gift in the form of two Yeti Rambler 26 Ounce Bottles for sharing our home and our lifestyle with her.
We put them to the test right away, filling the Yeti Rambler 26 Ounce Bottles and two other double walled bottles to the top with ice and water. The hike was 5 hours round trip, above 8000 feet, on a bluebird day with temps in the mid 80s. The drive to the trailhead was about 45 minutes, and with 15 minutes to boot up and gear up, off we went. An hour into the hike the double walled bottles had no more ice, while the Yeti Rambler 26 Ounce Bottles looked like the ice had not melted at all.
Coming back from the hike four hours later all water bottles were void of water, but the Yeti Rambler 26 Ounce Bottles still had 75% of the ice left. That cut us a little short of water for the hike, but when we got home we made margaritas in the Yeti Ramblers without adding ice and went to an outdoor concert. The next morning I woke up and I went to clean the Yeti Ramblers, there was still some ice in them. Thats when I saw the value.
