Red Meat Marinade by Rob Schiffler from Mountain Home, Idaho

Red Meat Marinade

  • 2/3 cup Worcestershire sauce.

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce.

  • 1/3 cup coarse ground black pepper. Yes lots of pepper.

  • 1 dash of cayenne pepper.

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes.

  • 1/4 cup Italian seasoning.

  • Tbsp garlic salt.

  • 1/4 cup minced garlic.

  • 2 to 4 tbsp of brown sugar or honey.

  • Optional fresh rosemary.

  • Add 1/2 cup to 2/3 cup water.

    This is pretty basic but is my go to marinade for all things red meat. Tri tip in particular.
